Getting started
A practical sequence for bringing ImpactGuard online on CS2 and CS 1.6 servers without skipping safety checks.
1. Create Your Organization Account
Register at the panel. Keep your email reachable for billing and security notices. Enable MFA if available.
2. Activate or Purchase a Plan
Start on Free for validation or choose a paid tier from the in-panel store. Confirm license scope matches the number of servers you intend to connect. Paid fees are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise — see Refund Policy.
3. Download the Plugin
CS2: download the official zip from the panel Plugin Manager or the homepage. Extract it at the CS2 server root (the folder that contains game/), not inside game/csgo/. You need Metamod:Source 2.x and CounterStrikeSharp 1.0.368 or newer. The package includes ImpactGuard, the native addon, and VisionGate map data. CS 1.6: download the AMXX package from Plugin Manager or /api/download/cs16-plugin, extract into cstrike/, and set igac_license_key. License keys look like IG-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXX.
4. Configure Conservatively
Begin with log-first policy while you watch false-positive rates. Shipped CS2 defaults require multiple detections, unique modules, threat score 25, and confidence floors (kick 0.72 / ban 0.86) before punishment. Tune from the configuration docs.
5. Register Servers & Heartbeats
Paste the license into Panel.json (CS2) or IGAC.cfg (CS 1.6). Heartbeats run about every 60 seconds; panel config sync is about 120 seconds. Confirm the server shows online before tightening enforcement. Full install steps: docs.
6. Wire Observability
Set webhooks or Discord notifications if you use them. Bookmark status.impactguard.ac for platform incidents.
7. Train Your Admins
Share documentation with staff who will operate appeals and overrides.
